I am lucky enough to honestly say that I love my job. Growing up in a house with my father who was a Chiropractor, I always understood the power of touch and the benefits of natural, drug-free pain relief. It was 1999 when I first stepped through the doors of Blue Cliff to begin my new career, and I never imagined the impact that this profession would have on me.

I became Certified in Prenatal Massage after working in a spa for several years, feeling like I just needed something more. There are so many things that I love about working with pregnant women, and I believe that nobody needs it more than you do. Since then I have dedicated myself to always be aware of what is safe for you and your baby during our treatments, because after nearly 16 years of practicing massage, helping people feel better naturally is still my passion.

I promise to always do what I believe is best for you and I thank you for trusting me with your body during this very special time of your life,

Massage Therapy came into my life in 2013 when I was nearing the end of my pregnancy and in severe pain,  I worked 50+ hours each week on my feet and developed sciatica that was so intense it would put me out of commission!  I  could not find relief no matter what I tried.

Thankfully, I was blessed by my Mother and Father-in-law with a gift certificate to NOLA Maternal Instincts for a full body Pregnancy Massage!  I had never received a massage before, and was so excited to give it a try.  As far as I knew, it was a luxury to get a massage and I thought that it had nothing to do with actual healing...boy was I wrong!

I waddled into my massage appointment with Jessica, in severe pain and desperation.  I walked out a new woman, free of pain and with a new purpose.

Immediately after giving birth I decided to dedicate my life to helping other people heal through therapeutic touch.  It all started for me at NOLA Maternal Instincts, and now here I am, two years later, helping pregnant women feel better the same way that I was helped.  I truly believe that this is such a gift for me, and the purpose of my life here on Earth!

So when I tell you that I know how you feel, you can trust me on that, and I truly look forward to helping you feel better soon!
